Remember last week when I gave away a copy of The Two Mrs. Abbotts? Well today I wanted to share my thoughts on the book. In a phrase: I loved it! You know from my previous posts that I am a big fan of books that put me in the center of life in England, and this book was no different. Add a touch of historical details and a dash of an under-represented female author and you’ve got a book that was practically written for me!

I highly suggest you pick up a copy of The Two Mrs. Abbotts (and maybe a few other D.E. Stevenson books) at your earliest convenience.
